Yesterday the Residents’ Association heard about some exciting research that the University of York are involved in which tracks residents’ carbon & ecological footprints.

What is REAP Petite?
REAP Petite is a free online footprint calculator developed by the Stockholm Environment Institute in York (SEI) designed to help you calculate your environmental impact and make pledges to help reduce it.
REAP Petite is being used as a tool for monitoring the progress of derwenthorpe households and the community over time in the Living at Derwenthorpe project funded by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust.
